How do I configure my SMTP settings for sending automated emails?

If you're using Gmail or Outlook, you don't need to do anything. 💪

For other email addresses, you need to manually configure your SMTP settings. ⚙️

You can do this in two ways:

1. In Settings > Email settings.

2. The first time you send an email campaign in Salesflare, a pop-up window will appear if you haven't already configured them in Settings.

Here's a list of the most common email providers and their outgoing email server host names and ports.

GoDaddy

GoDaddy's host changes, depending on the region.
​Europe host: smtpout.europe.secureserver.net
​Asia host: smtpout.asia.secureserver.net
​Americas host: smtpout.secureserver.net
​Port number (all regions): 465
​

Zoho

Host: smtp.zoho.eu
​Port number: 465

Yahoo

Host: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
​Port number: 465 or 587

1and1.com

Host: smtp.1and1.com
Port number: 587

one.com

Host: send.one.com
Port number: 465

me.com

Host: smtp.mail.me.com
Port number: 587

​If your email provider is not in this list, just Google: [insert email provider name] SMTP settings. You are looking for the outgoing server name (or host name) and the port number (SSL is preferred, but non-SSL and TLS are also valid).
