Trigger Slack notifications when an opportunity is won in Salesflare. 🎉

Go to www.zapier.com and Make a Zap.

Here's how you set it up.

First, search for Salesflare as your Trigger App.

Select New Opportunity as your trigger.

Save + Continue.

Connect your Salesflare account.

Next, under Stage, use the dropdown menu to select Won.

Test the step & Continue.

You can attach a nice GIF to your message to liven things up.

Here's how to do it:

Choose an Action App: Select Webhooks by Zapier

Next, select GET as your action.

Under Set Up Template, paste the following text in URL:
​http://api.giphy.com/v1/gifs/random

Under Query String Params, type in api_key in the box on the left.

In a new window, go to https://developers.giphy.com and login/signup to get an API key.

Click Create an App at the top right of the page.

Name your GIPHY and press Create App.

The text that's blurred in the image above is your personal GIPHY API key. 

Copy this and head back to Zapier. Paste this API key in the box to the right of api_key.

Press the plus button to add another line to the Query String Params.

Type tag on the left and party on the right. (We chose party, but you can choose any tag you like for the GIF you want to display in your message.)

Search for Slack as your Action App.

Next, select Send Channel Message as your action.

Connect your Slack account.

Under Channel, pick a channel you want the message to be sent to. For example, sales.

Under Message Text, choose whatever message you want to send.
For example, you can say something like:

The opportunity Website Project with Tesla has just been WON. 95,000.95 in revenues flowing in! 💰

To display the same message, copy the following into the Message Text:

The opportunity STEP_1_NAME with STEP_1_ACCOUNT_NAME has just been WON. STEP_1_VALUE in revenues flowing in! 💰

Make sure to replace all capital letters with the actual tags from the dropdown menu under New Opportunity.

​If you followed the Bonus Step, then scroll down to Attach Image by URL.
​Select Step 2: Get > Data Image URL. This will attach the GIPHY to your message.

Continue. Test your step. Name & turn your zap on.

Now Slack will notify you when it's time to celebrate your wins. 😄
