Calling your customers - and having an accessible log of those calls - is a crucial part of sales/business.
In Salesflare, any calls are logged when you click on the phone number or the phone icon of a contact. Any phone system that is the default app on your device for calling will be triggered when you click these phone numbers or icons in Salesflare, and a call will be logged. If you wish to make phone calls from a different app such as a VOIP app, Skype, etc. you will need to change the default calling app on your phone or computer to do so.
Android:
Open the Settings apps.
Tap Apps & Notifications.
Default Apps
Under Default Apps, you will find ‘Phone App’ which you can tap to change the default.
Apple:
At the moment, it is not possible to change the default calling app on iPhone without jailbreaking the phone.
While this makes that you can't click to call from Salesflare with your favorite calling app on your iPhone, you can still integrate the calls from your favorite VOIP calling service using Zapier. We've listed a selection of VOIP services that can be integrated here.
Windows:
If you want to change the default calling app on Windows, first search for “Default apps”.
Then click on “Choose default apps by protocol” at the bottom.
Finally, scroll to “TEL”, click on it, and select your app of choice.
