Security is obviously very important to us. We safeguard your customer data in many ways.

The connection to the Salesflare application is encrypted using a modern cipher suite. It uses TLS 1.2 and is encrypted and authenticated using AES128_GCM and uses ECDHERSA as the key exchange mechanism.

Your data is encrypted using the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256), or better, with symmetric keys: that is, the same key is used to encrypt the data when it is stored, and to decrypt it when it is used. These data keys are themselves encrypted using a master key, stored in a secure keystore, and changed regularly.

Passwords are encrypted in the database using a one-way bcrypt cypher with at least 10 rounds. They can never be read by anyone, not even after decryption of the database.

To protect you from the unlikely risk that your data might be compromised, automatic data back-ups are made on a daily basis. These are securely stored and can easily be restored to perform a point-in-time recovery to a specific state of the database instance.

All data is stored on Google Cloud servers. The server infrastructure is SSAE 16, ISO 27001, PCI DSS v3.0, and HIPAA compliant.
