# Can I create custom fields?

I'd like to make extra fields. How do I do this?

Yes, you can create customized fields for your Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities.

1.  Go to ["Settings" \> "Customize fields"](https://app.salesflare.com/#/settings/customfields/account).
    
2.  Select the entity you want to add custom fields to by clicking on either the "Account", "Contact", or "Opportunity" tabs in the top bar.
    
3.  Click on the large blue "+" button at the bottom right of the screen to create a custom field.
    
4.  Select the right [field type](/en/articles/2321233-can-i-make-different-types-of-custom-fields) and give it a descriptive name.
